Thadoe Hein is the founder and chairman of one of the largest agriculture companies in Myanmar. Myanma Awba Group serves three million farming families (out of seven million farming families in the country) with agricultural inputs, finance and extension services. The primary objective is to help farmers prosper and alleviate poverty. Thadoe Hein is currently the chairman of Myanmar Fertilizer, Seeds and Agrochemical Entrepreneur Association and the Joint Secretary General of the Union of Myanmar Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He is also serving as the executive committee member of Myanmar Young Entrepreneurs Association as well as the membership chair of the Young President Organization. Having graduated from the University of Yangon in 1995 and received an Executive MBA from the Yangon Institute of Economics in 2008, Thadoe Hein is currently completing the Global Executive MBA program for Asia Pacific run jointly by the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Anderson School of Management and the National University of Singapore (NUS) Business School.
