Shweta Sinha

Shweta is a Consultant with the Global Engagement Unit in the Health, Nutrition and Population Global Practice and specializes in pandemic preparedness and emergency response. She conducts analytical work and provides technical support on the health system resilience work. Her background is in Global Health, with extensive research experience in Biomedical Sciences and Biochemistry. Before joining the Bank, Shweta worked as an Epidemiologist with Partners in Health focusing on the pandemic preparedness programs in the US. She has experience of working in Eastern and Western Africa and also Central America.
