Ron Margalit has built a multi-disciplinary career focused on social investments in emerging markets. As Lumos is building the world’s first distributed utility using disruptive technologies and innovative business model, he leads the company’s impact and blended financing efforts with a specific goal to crowd-in commercial and private sector investments.
Ron is a veteran principal investor and advisor. Before Lumos, he founded and managed a boutique NYC-based investment firm that works with Global 500 companies, governments, impact funds and start-ups on emerging markets programs, managing their growth and partnership strategies. Ron was educated at Harvard Business School, and focused on strategy in emerging markets.
