Rhedon Begolli is a Senior Energy Specialist based in Kosovo with the World Bank's Energy and Extractives Global Practice, where he manages energy programs in the Western Balkans, particularly for Kosovo, North Macedonia. He also supported energy programs in South Caucasus (Georgia and Azerbaijan), Central Asia (Tajikistan), and Bulgaria. His work includes projects in energy efficiency, sustainable heating, energy market reform, renewable energy, power generation public-private partnerships (PPPs), and district heating. Prior to joining the World Bank, Rhedon worked in the lighting technology sector and on projects related to information and communication technology (ICT). Rhedon holds an MBA in International Management from the Monterey Institute of International Studies and a B.A. in Computer Science and Mass Communications from the American University in Bulgaria.
