Mr. Colenso joined the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation in 2011. Previously, he worked for the UK’s Department for International Development for 11 years. Among other roles, he was Head of the Human Development Department in DFID’s Policy Division, leading UK government policy on international education, health, HIV/AIDS and nutrition. Peter has also worked as an education specialist for the World Bank and for non-governmental organizations in Africa, Asia and the Balkans. Peter has a Doctorate of Education from Sussex University.
