Mr. Peter Bart is Deputy Head of Division of the Economic Policy Division of the Federal Ministry of Finance in Vienna. His research areas mainly cover fiscal and structural policy issues. He is a Member of the “EU Economic Policy Committee” and President of the “EU-EPC Working Group on Ageing Populations and Sustainability” which was established to contribute to improving the quantitative assessment of the long-term sustainability of public finances and economic consequences of ageing populations of the EU Member States. The main goal thus is to assist in the formation of policy recommendations.
