Professor Nils Stieglitz became President and CEO of Frankfurt School of Finance and Management on 1 April 2018. He previously served as Vice President of Corporate Development, Head of the Management Department and as Professor of Strategic Management. Prior to that, he worked as Assistant and Associate Professor at the University of Southern Denmark
Professor Stieglitz teaches strategy and organizational design. His primary research interests are strategic decision-making and organizational adaptation. He has been published in leading academic journals such as Management Science, Organization Science, and Strategic Management Journal, and publications such as Business Week, Financial Times, Harvard Business Review, Neue Zuricher Zeitung, New York Times, The Economist, and Wall Street Journal. He serves on the editorial boards of Organization Science and Strategic Management Journals and is a Senior Editor at the Journal of Organization Design.
He is a member of the Academy of Management (AOM), the Danish Research Unit on Industrial Dynamics (DRUID), the Organizational Design Community (ODC), the Strategic Management Society (SMS) as well as the Theoretical Organizational Models Society (TOM).
