Nathalie Munzberg is Senior Legal Advisor at LEGEN (Environmental and Social division) in the Legal Department of the World Bank, where she is responsible for aspects of environmental and social safeguards for the whole of MENA (Middle East and North Africa) and Francophone Africa. Before joining LEGEN, Miss Munzberg worked for over seven years as a country lawyer for the World Bank's Africa Region. As a country lawyer, Nathalie was responsible for the legal aspects of the preparation, negotiation, and monitoring of all projects of the World Bank for more than a dozen countries in Francophone and Lusophone Africa. Before joining the World Bank in 2005, Nathalie worked for seven years in an international law firm in New York on structured finance transactions. Nathalie holds a Masters in Law from Paris XI (Sceaux), a Master of Private International Law and Business Law from Paris II (Panthéon-Assas), and an LLM from Georgetown University. Nathalie is a member of the Bar of Paris and New York.
