Professor Mustafizur Rahman is currently serving as Distinguished Fellow at the Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD) in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Earlier Dr. Rahman had taught as a Professor in the University of Dhaka. His recent works have focused on macro-fiscal-trade policies, LDC graduation challenges, regional and global integration of Bangladesh, and SDG implementation challenges in developing country contexts. He has published widely in Bangladesh and abroad. Professor Rahman has served as member of a number of national bodies set up by the Government of Bangladesh including Regulatory Reforms Commission and Core Committee on Connectivity. He was a member of Panel of Economists for the Five Year Plans and Perspective Plans of Bangladesh. Professor Rahman is member of Dhaka University Senate and Board of Trustees of the BRAC University. He is a Series Editor of South Asia Economic Policy Studies published by the Springer Publications. Dr. Rahman was educated in Moscow State University where he did his Ph.D, Oxford University, UK and Warwick University, UK where he was a Post-Doctoral Fellow and Yale University, USA where he was a Senior Fulbright Fellow.
