Mark Robinson is Global Director of Governance at the World Resources Institute (WRI) in Washington, D.C., a leading global think tank on sustainable development. He is responsible for managing the Governance Center of Excellence, leading governance work across the various program initiatives of the Institute, and integrating governance perspectives into climate and sustainable development. Mark leads WRI's Africa strategy and plays an active role in integrating open government and transparency perspectives into climate and environment work. He previously held senior leadership and management positions in government, a private foundation, and several think tanks and research organizations over a career in governance and international development spanning more than 25 years.
