Prior to his current role as the Vice Minister, Office of the Central Leading Commission for Finance and Economy and Vice Minister, Ministry of Finance, People’s Republic of China, Mr. Liao had a wide working experience in financial industry, ranging from the central bank, banking regulatory commission, the commercial bank to the financial holding company in Hong Kong. Mr. Liao received a master’s degree in economics from Peking University in 1993 and an MBA from Judge Business School of Cambridge University in 2006.
