Judy Oglethorpe is Senior Director, Multilateral Programs Development in WWF US. Previously as Chief of Party on the USAID-funded Hariyo Ban (Green Forests) Program in Nepal she worked for five years on building climate resilience and promoting adaptation for people, ecosystems and species. The program also undertook green recovery and reconstruction after the 2015 earthquake. Previous work in WWF included climate adaptation; armed conflict and conservation, community conservation, large-scale conservation approaches, and transboundary conservation. Judy also has 14 years’ experience in East and Southern Africa in wildlife, forest and biodiversity planning and management; tourism planning; and community based natural resource management. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Ecological Science from the University of Edinburgh and a master’s degree in Environmental Management from the University of London, United Kingdom.
