Mr. Rolett is special advisor to the chairman of the Open Society Foundations, George Soros. He has particular expertise in Eastern Europe and has worked extensively on governance, elections, civil society, and development issues. Prior to joining Open Society, Rolett worked for the National Democratic Institute on election monitoring, civic engagement, parliamentary representation, and political party development. Before that, Rolett ran a U.S.-based campaign training school for candidates and campaign managers.
