Joern Huenteler

Joern Huenteler (Senior Energy Specialist, IECE1) coordinates the World Bank’s energy program in the South Caucasus and leads the energy engagement in Georgia and Armenia. His previous experience in the World Bank was in energy in East Africa and MNA. Prior to joining the Bank, Joern was a researcher at the Harvard Kennedy School. He holds a PhD from ETH Zurich, a degree in mechanical engineering and economics from RWTH Aachen University (Germany), and a M.Sc. in power engineering and engineering thermophysics from Tsinghua University (China).
