Jerry Ng is the Founder and Chairman of Bank Jago. Prior to this, he spent over ten years leading the transformation of Bank BTPN from a small pension bank to the 7th largest bank in Indonesia and a leader in mass market and digital banking in SE Asia. He has held roles at Citibank, Bank Central Asia, Bank Danamon, Astra Financial Services, and the Indonesian Bank Restructuring Agency, a government task force established to restore the banking industry back to normalcy following the East Asian Financial Crisis. He currently sits on the Board of Trustees for the SymAsia Foundation (Singapore), World Wildlife Fund (Indonesia), Blum Center for Developing Economies (UC Berkeley). He serves on the Advisory Board of the Jackson Institute of Global Affairs (Yale University), and most recently, the Global Advisory Board of the McIntire School of Commerce (UVA). Jerry graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington, and has attended multiple Executive Management programs at Stanford GSB and HBS. He is also an Eisenhower Fellow.
