Jennifer Trotsko is Chief Data Privacy Officer and Head of Compliance Risk at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private sector arm of the World Bank Group (WBG). Jennifer directly manages IFC’s Privacy, Data Access, Technology Business Risk, and Conflict of Interest offices and serves as IFC representative on multiple WBG risk committees. She also co-leads a multilateral development bank privacy symposium that tackles issues particular to international organizations.
Prior to this, Jennifer headed IFC’s Data Governance Office, which she founded at IFC in 2001.
Fluent in Russian, Jennifer started her career in Moscow where she led IFC’s Russian Electricity Sector Reform Project. She has a B.A. from Bowdoin College, an M.A. from Columbia University, and a Certificate from the Harriman Institute.
