Jean-Baptiste Djebbari graduated from l'École nationale de l'aviation civile (ENAC) in 2007, and became an airline pilot with the company Netjets in 2008. From 2014 to 2015, he was a civil servant at the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGAC). In 2015, he was appointed as a judicial expert to the Paris Court of Appeal and worked in particular on the fight against illegal employment in the aviation industry. From 2016 to 2017, he became director of operations for the company Jetfly. In June 2017, he was elected deputy for the 2nd constituency of Haute-Vienne. In 2018, he was rapporteur for the rail reform bill in the National Assembly. On September 3, 2019, he was appointed Secretary of State for Transport to the Minister of Ecological Transition and Solidarity. On July 7, 2020, he was appointed Minister Delegate to the Minister of Ecological Transition, in charge of transport. He was born in 1982 in Melun (Seine-et-Marne).
