Jackie Chang manages global developers on the Free Basics Platform, part of Facebook’s Internet.org initiative to bring Internet access to the remaining two-thirds of the world without it. Free Basics makes the Internet accessible to more people by providing them access to a range of free basic services, including news, education, health, local jobs, sports, communication, and local government information. Ms. Chang educates and works with global nonprofits, governments, and private sector organizations to integrate Free Basics into their delivery of content and services. She has been with Facebook for over nine years. Prior to working on Internet.org, she led several of the company’s strategic partnerships on the Developer Platform. She spent her earlier years working with advertisers and agencies launching some of the most well-known brand campaigns on Facebook.
