Hanane Mourchid is the Chief Sustainability Officer at OCP Group. She obtained a chemical engineering degree from the Mohammedia School of Engineers in Morocco in 2006. In 2007, she joined the OCP Group in Safi platform, as a process improvement engineer and then as an industrial construction project manager. She also worked on operational change management and lean manufacturing projects. She took charge of production units such as phosphoric acid, sulfuric acid, and fertilizers plants. In 2017, she became the director of the Jorf Fertilizer Company V in Jorf Lasfar platform in Morocco. In 2018, she served as VP-Head of OCP's Circular Economy Program, and in July 2019, she became senior VP of the OCP Sustainability Platform.
