François Villeroy de Galhau

François Villeroy de Galhau is Governor of the Banque de France and a member of the Governing Council of the European Central Bank since 2015. He has previously been chief of staff of the Minister of the Economy and Finance (1997-2000), head of the Tax department (2000-2003) before joing BNP Paribas in 2003, most recently serving as Chief Operating Officer, in charge of domestic markets then of corporate social responsibility (2011-2015).
