Identity and Belonging in the Human and Social Capabilities (HSC) Division at the Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC) in South Africa and Extraordinary Associate Professor in Educational Psychology at the University of the Western Cape. He leads multiyear, multicountry projects across Eastern and Southern Africa focused on systems level change related to diversity, especially gender and sexual diversity, and publishes widely in the field of gender and sexualities.
