Before being appointed Minister of Development Planning and Environment of Bolivia in November of 2025, Mr. Romero was president of the Bolivian Association of Oilseeds and Wheat Producers.
Mr. Romero was also president of the CREA Bolivia, a platform to share knowledge and technology and experiences on productive development.
Mr. Romero is an oilseeds producer, holds a degree on Political Sciences and a masters degree from the Notre Dame University.
