Ellen Savage is Vice President of Membership at the Consumer Technology Association (CTA)TM, the trade association representing the $351 billion U.S. consumer technology industry. More than 2,200 companies – 80 percent are small businesses and startups; others are among the world’s best known brands – enjoy the benefits of CTA membership including policy advocacy, market research, technical education, industry promotion, standards development and the fostering of business and strategic relationships. CTA also owns and produces CES® – the world’s gathering place for all who thrive on the business of consumer technologies.
Prior to joining CTA, Savage worked at Covad Communications, where she helped manage a portfolio of accounts responsible for billing $30 million annually and launch new product offerings.
Savage earned her Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from Bloomsburg University. She became a Certified Association Executive (CAE) in 2016. She was named to Dealerscope’s 40 Under 40 in Consumer Electronics in 2011, DCA Live’s Trending 40 Association Innovators in March 2017, and was a Women in Consumer Technology Legacy Awardee in January 2018.
