Elleanor Robins works to develop cross-sectoral solutions as part of IFC’s strategy to create markets and unlock new opportunities. She focuses on delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for cities, as part of IFC’s Cities initiative, and expanding opportunities in the e-mobility space in emerging markets.
Elleanor has spent the past decade originating and executing infrastructure projects at IFC, including seven years focusing on infrastructure investments in Africa. She has closed a range of complex transactions and played an active role in the design of the World Bank Group’s landmark Scaling Solar program.
Prior to joining IFC, Elleanor worked in banking in New York and Paris and spent time traveling across Western and Northern Africa to support small grassroots credit cooperatives. Elleanor holds a Masters’ Degree in International Economic Policy from Sciences Po in Paris, France.
