Dr. Yansane was appointed State Minister of Mining and Geology in January 2014. Previously he was the Minister of Economy and Finance as well as a Former Governor, Central Bank of Guinea, Conakry (1986-1996).
Before his appointment as Minister of finance in 2010, Dr Yansane was a Development Consultant with a number of international and regional institutions, including the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, the UNDP, the NEPAD Secretariat, the African Development Bank and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Dr Yansane holds a State Doctorate (PHd) from University of Paris-Sorbonne, Faculty of Economics and Law, and a Diploma of Finance from the Institute of Political Sciences of Paris.
