Chun Li was named Group CEO of Lazada Group in July 2020. Chun joined Lazada in June 2017 as Co-President overseeing technology, product strategy and consumer business. He was the chief architect behind Lazada Group’s technology platform and organization transformation in 2017. He took on the additional role of CEO of Lazada Indonesia in July 2019, leading the business development and strategic growth of Lazada Indonesia.
Chun is a veteran internet technology executive with over 30 years of experience in the global digital industry. Before joining Lazada, Chun Li was Chief Technology Officer for Alibaba B2B business unit from October 2014 to May 2017. He had also held senior management positions at PayPal, eBay and InPro System.
Chun Li graduated with dual bachelor degree in mechanics and economics law from Peking University, and a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Ohio State University
