Chulamanee Chartsuwan got her B.A. with first class honor from the Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University in Thailand; Master of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, Washington DC with Fulbright Scholarship; and Master of Arts in International Business from Webster University, Leiden Campus.
Chulamanee has been working in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand since 1984. She served overseas in the Hague and Singapore, the latter while being seconded to the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF). Her latest position was in Brussels as Deputy Chief of Mission in the Royal Thai Embassy to Belgium / Mission to the European Union.
While in Bangkok, she worked extensively on international economic issues with more than 10 years in the Department of International Economic Affairs, notably covering UN institutions related to international trade, development and economic affairs.
