Ms. Buddy Buruku is a Ugandan national who consults with the African Centre for Economic Transformation in Ghana, implementing public financial management reform projects and managing their Africa-China practice. She also undertakes various organizational strategy, business process mapping and human resource optimization projects in Africa. Previously she worked in financial services consulting in New York focusing on data mining to improve the bottom line and improve efficiency. She also worked as a renewable energy and energy efficiency advisory in Beijing. Buddy has a keen interest in sustainable agriculture and is the founder and MD of a commercial poultry rearing and packaging farm in Entebbe, Uganda. Ms. Buruku has an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, a master's certificate from the Johns Hopkins - Nanjing Center and a BA in East Asian studies from Haverford College, USA. She speaks 6 languages including Chinese, French, Spanish and Portuguese.
