Arvind Kumar

Dr Arvind Kumar is an Indian surgeon and the Founder and Managing Trustee of Lung Care Foundation, a social impact trust which aims to improve the lung health by increasing awareness and supporting research and healthcare. Dr Kumar is also the Chairman, Institute of Chest Surgery, Chest Onco Surgery and Lung Transplantation at Medanta Hospital, in India. In 2017, he  received the prestigious Dr. B. C. Roy Award for excellence in the field of medicine. Dr. Kumar is also a member of  the Executive Board for Asian Thoracoscopic Education Platform. He has presented his work at several international organizations including the World Health Organization and the United Nations.
