Anushe leads the Women Entrepreneurs Opportunity Facility (WEOF), a joint investment advisory platform supported by IFC and the Goldman Sachs Foundation. She oversees a portfolio of projects globally and continues to position IFC as a thought leader in this space. In addition, she manages advisory services for WEFI and the Global SME Finance Facility, which are both joint investment and advisory platform focusing on SMEs and women owned SMEs globally. She joined the IFC South Asia Department in 2002, where she played a key role in setting up access to finance programs for South Asia focusing on SME Banking across multiple countries. In 2006, she moved to Washington D.C. where she held several global roles in Financial Inclusion and SME Banking.
Prior to joining IFC, Anushe held several positions in credit, loans and guarantees in commercial banks. Anushe holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from Georgetown University.
