Anne Kabagambe serves as the Alternate Executive Director for Africa Group 1 at the World Bank Group, Washington DC. She is an international development and finance professional who prior to this appointment served for 27 years at the African Development Bank, ending her career as Chef de Cabinet. Ms. Kabagambe holds two Masters’ Degrees from Columbia University in New York City, and the George Washington University, Washington DC in International Relations and Public Policy & Practice. She obtained her first degree from the University of California at San Diego (UCSD). In addition, Ms Kabagambe holds post-graduate diplomas from Harvard University’s JFK School of Government and the Cranfield School of Management in the United Kingdom.
Ms. Kabagambe is fluent in both French and English and mother of two grown up sons.
