Anders Hjorth Agerskov heads the World Bank’s Preventive Services Unit. The unit was established in response to recommendations made by the Independent Review Panel chaired by former Federal Reserve Chairman Paul Volcker. The unit is charged with assessing integrity risks to the World Bank’s portfolio, providing consulting services to the Bank’s global practice areas on how to protect against fraud and corruption in investment operations, and building capacity among national agencies. Mr. Agerskov has previously served at the World Bank’s Board and Corporate Strategy Group as well as at the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
