As the Managing Partner for IBM’s Talent & Transformation business, Amy is responsible for bringing innovative services and software to IBM clients to help with the transformation of talent across the business enterprise and the reinvention of the Human Resources (HR) function. IBM is in a unique position to work with clients at this game changing moment-intime, serving as a real-life example of accelerating enterprise transformation through its own HR journey, which incorporates Augmented Intelligence (AI) technology advancements, skills shifts and new ways of working.
Prior to providing talent solutions for clients, Amy served as the HR VP for the Global Business Services unit, an organization of >125k employees worldwide. During her tenure in this role Amy was responsible for leadership development, recruitment and integration, building a culture of engagement, talent development, retention, and skills transformation. Amy led the workforce strategy of creating a global delivery network of centers, the shift to a learningbased culture, growing early professionals into leaders and levers of change, and introduction of cognitive into talent programs. In 2015, Amy was awarded a U.S. patent in the field of predictive analytics in resource management in one of many initiatives integral to a shifting ways of working in a services business.
Amy is the co-author of IBM’s Institute of Business Value’s “The enterprise guide to closing the skills gap - Strategies for building and maintaining a skilled workforce” report that was released in September 2019. She regularly speaks on IBM’s research on HR in the age of AI, closing the skills gap, employee engagement, and culture change.
