Amirali Batada is a co-founder of the Global Partnership for Youth in Development, an initiative of the Leadership, Learning and Innovation Practice of the World Bank Group. Amirali has focused his work and research on examining the driving forces of youth marginalization and deploying interventions for positive youth development. Amirali has collaborated with academic institutions, CSOs, governments and the private sector to design programs and policies that foster responsible leadership, purpose and innovation among youth, enabling them to create public value and support sustainable development in their communities.
He has previously worked as a management consultant with Deloitte specializing in strategy, operations, leadership and sustainable business. His work has supported global companies, governments and CSOs create economic and social value through addressing complex problems and enhancing the capacity of their talent. He is a Systems Design Engineer from the University of Waterloo and holds a Masters of Education in Leadership, Innovation and Development from Harvard University.
