Alejandra Bravo Hidalgo currently serves in the Cabinet of the President of the Republic of Chile, Mr. Sebastián Piñera Echenique, as Undersecretary of the Ministry of National Assets. From this position she leads the National Plan for the Regularization of the Small Fiscal, Indigenous and Agricultural Root Property "Chile Propietario", through which Domain Titles are delivered that allow improving the quality of life of thousands of Chileans, mainly for vulnerables.
She has Social&Political studies at the Foundation for Analysis and Social Studies (FAES) in Madrid; she was a US State Department Scholar in social&political studies and conducted studies for the Strengthening of Small and Medium Enterprises in the Basque Autonomous Community.
She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Social Communication from UNIACC University, where she studied Journalism between 2008 and 2012. She is also an Executive Secretary with mention in English at the same university.
She participated in the communication team of the Safe Commune Program of the Home Office of Chile, between 2007 and 2008 and was Executive Secretary of the International Center for Democratic Affairs Foundation of the international political scientist Ricardo Israel Zipper.
Co-founder of the Independent Regionalist Party (PRI). She was councilor of the Municipality of Colina between 2000 and 2008, obtaining in the 2004 election the first national majority for her party. Later in 2013 she was reelected to occupy the same position.
In her capacity as President of the PRI, she was a spokesperson for the Chile Vamos political coalition that is currently officialism, which allowed her to hold direct weekly meetings with the current President of the Republic of Chile, Sebastián Piñera.
