Aïssata Beavogui joined Guinea Alumina Corporation S.A. (GAC) in 2014 as Director of Corporate Governance and Compliance and was appointed Director General of the company in 2016, making her the first women to ever hold this position in an international company in Guinea. In addition to her role as Director General, she is also Director, Corporate Social Responsibility and, as such, oversees all practices implemented by GAC in order to respect the sustainable development principles (social, environmental and economic).
Ms. Béavogui has over twenty years of experience in audit, finance and accounting in both the United States and the Republic of Guinea. Before joining GAC, she held various directorship positions in large consulting firms, including Deloitte, Grant Thornton and AIS International.
Ms. Beavogui holds a BS in Accounting from the State University of New York and she is a Certified Leadership Professional in Ethics & Compliance professional.
