Achref Aouadi is a 28-year-old Tunisian activist and International Political Economy student. Achref is the founder and President of I Watch, one of the prominent Tunisian NGOs established after the Revolution. He was instrumental in the “GO VOTE” awareness campaign in 2011 using several music and SMS strategies to explain Election Day procedures to voters. Achref was also involved in the elections observation of the 2011 elections. In 2014, he was part of the pilot team working on the Campaign Finance monitoring project. I Watch gathers a group of motivated young men and women from different regions of the country working on preserving the gains of the revolution and is founded upon two main principles: 1) No exclusion. 2) No trusteeship. I Watch works mainly on two axes: transparency and anti-corruption. I Watch seeks to facilitate access to information and works on the democratization of the police and guaranteeing a smooth political transition in the post-revolution period.
