From Ambition to Action: Practical Tools for implementing Climate Targets
Climate change is worsening poverty and inequality. In response to this urgent challenge, countries are considering more ambitious national climate targets during COP26 in Glasgow. The World Bank is helping governments take the actions required to implement these targets with practical tools developed over decades of experience in economic analysis, including a range of macroeconomic models for projections and policy and impact simulations.
This virtual conversation, part of a series between World Bank senior management and global leaders in addressing climate change, will showcase how the World Bank is helping policymakers assess climate change risks and evaluate effectiveness of a mix of policies and investments aimed at mitigating this pressing global climate challenge.
