Saleha Mohsin is an economic policy reporter covering the U.S. Treasury Department. She follows the current secretary, Steven Mnuchin, around the world from Indonesia, Argentina to Israel, having traveled to more than a dozen countries since the Trump administration began. She writes about everything from the U.S.'s growing use of sanctions as a foreign policy tool, rising federal deficits and international economic diplomacy. Her favorite part of the job is breaking news, whether it's who will be the next appointment for the Federal Reserve, or how the U.S.'s economic ties with China are progressing. Prior to moving to Washington in 2016, she covered the Norwegian economy, where the world's largest sovereign wealth fund is based.
An Ohio native, Saleha graduated from the University of Cincinnati and went on to pursue a masters in journalism in London, before she moved to Oslo, Norway.
