Lindsay Coates is Executive Vice President of InterAction a community of 200 US based NGOs. She has been the COO of Population Action International, which advocates for access to family planning services and began her career as a civil rights lawyer in Mississippi. Lindsay served on the Obama administration’s Task Force on Global Poverty, the Board of Episcopal Relief and Development and the Public Policy Committee of the Independent Sector. From 2008-2009, Lindsay was a nonresident Fellow of Seminar XXI, of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Center for International Studies.
