Born in 1972, he currently lives in Istanbul and is married with two children. Previously, he spent 13 years working in Hong Kong (1995-2007).

In February 2015, he was appointed as CEO of Arçelik A.Ş, a subsidiary of Koc Holding. Prior to that role, he was Assistant General Manager in charge of sales for Europe, Americas, and the Asia-Pacific.

He started his career at Koc Holding, Turkey’s largest conglemerate, as a sales representative for the group’s foreign trade arm in 1995. A year later, he moved to Hong Kong to work at Ram Pacific, which managed Koc Holding’s Asia-Pacific trading and outsourcing operations. In 2000, he became General Manager Pacific and started the group’s consumer, outsourcing, and manufacturing units expansion in to Mainland China.

In 2007, he moved to Istanbul and became CEO of Arcelik-LG Klima, an air condition manufacturing joint venture between Arcelik and LG. It is the largest air condition manufacturing facility in Europe and the Middle East.

He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas and an MBA degree from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management, and the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology.

He is the Chairman of TURKTRADE (Turkish Foreign Trade Organization), of the Chairman of the Turkish-Hong Kong Business Council of DEIK (Foreign Economic Relations Board), and is the current Chairman of Young Presidents Organization in Istanbul, a Member of the Hong Kong Yacht Club and Hong Kong Club, he is also a Member of French Chamber of Commerce in Turkey.
