Marieme Bekaye: We have people who are working with us to create jobs. Last year we created 600 permanent jobs and more than 50,000 temporary jobs in land restoration and reforestation. We have groups working to support women who are working in agriculture. We need to continue to build the capacity of young people with training and research.

@g_mukeshimana: In Rwanda we have a limited amount of land. We are still working hard to increase our crop and animal productivity and to reduce our post-harvest losses. We are also working to deploy improved technologies and support our farmers in adapting to climate change. We are equipping our farmers with solar-powered irrigation systems. We are also helping farmers deal with erosion.

@Agnes_Kalibata: From a food systems perspective, the biggest opportunity is recognizing that food is much more than what we eat. Food is impacting climate change. We need to change the paradigm of how we manage the environment around food. This is critical.
