Asli Senkal joined the World Bank in 2015 as an economist and since then, she has worked on growth, productivity, and fiscal policy in a range of low and middle income countries and more recently in the office of the Vice President of Operations Policy. Prior to joining the Bank, Asli was an assistant professor in Turkey. Aslı holds a PhD from University of Virginia. She is based in Washington, D.C.
