Zeina Toukan is the Minister of Planning and International Cooperation of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. She has served as Jordan’s Minister of Planning and International Cooperation since Oct 2022 and oversees Jordan’s Department of Statistics. She has 25 years of experience in development, planning, economic policies, international cooperation and development finance. She previously held positions as Advisor for Economic Affairs at the Royal Hashemite Court and Director of Economic Policies at the Office of His Majesty King Abdullah II. Her prior roles include Secretary General and Director of International Cooperation at the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation. She holds MSc in Development Economics from SOAS, University of London, and BA in Economics from the American University in Cairo. Read more
