The Honorable Sheku Ahmed Fantamadi Bangura is Sierra Leone’s Minister of Finance with 30 years of experience in economic and development management. Previously, he served as Deputy Minister of Finance (2020–2023), led the National COVID-19 Response, and was a Senior Advisor at the World Bank Group (2007–2017). He also worked as a development effectiveness consultant for the World Bank and interned with the IMF. Mr. Bangura holds advanced degrees from McGill University, The American University, and earned his undergraduate degree from the Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone.
