Born in Geneva, Switzerland, May 21, 1976. University of Rome: law degree, October 2000. Following the State Diplomatic Exam, enters the diplomatic career in 2002 where he serves in the Political and Europe Departments at the MFA; as Deputy Chief of Staff to the State Minister at the Ministry of Foreign Minister; in the Crisis Unit of the MFA tasked to protect Italian interests and citizens abroad in emergency situations.

Serves abroad in the Permanent Representation to the EU in Brussels at the Political and Security Committee (PSC) from 2006 to 2010.

Is appointed then to Israel as First Secretary at the Italian Embassy on March 2010 until January 2014.

Returns to Rome in January 2014 to serve at the MFA as Chief of Staff to the Director General for the European Union and the European Countries. On September 2016 he is appointed Consul General of Italy in San Francisco (USA)

From July 2021 he serves in the Prime Minister’s Office- Office of the Diplomatic Advisor to the President of the Council of Ministers, as MENA Counsellor including responsibility over energy issues.

Since March 2023 serves as Deputy National Coordinator for the implementation of the Mattei Plan for Africa at the Prime Minister’s Office.
