Bastián Pedreros Montero (26) is a young journalist and social communicator based in Concepción, Chile, with a focus on water governance and community engagement. As co-founder of Cuenco, he leads efforts to promote public dialogue on water issues, working alongside rural communities and youth organizations to design awareness campaigns on the responsible use of water for human consumption and productive use. His work bridges communication and water management to support local development and advance water security.
Mr. Pedreros Montero holds a degree in Journalism from the Universidad Católica de la Santísima Concepción and a diploma in Social Capital Competencies from the Universidad del Bío-Bío.
