Ivan Collinson

Due to COVID19, education sectors, as many others, are suffering unprecedent impact and perhaps, some national systems, will never return to what there were, before COVID19.Governments are/should be required to respond adequally, but also quickly! The people, teachers, student and pupils can´t afford to wait too much for directions. So, decision about academic calendar review, national examinations, support for those in need (financial, mental, pedagogical), resources, must be in the agenda of all managers, in every level, especially those in charge of educational planning. All this, should also consider the social-economic differences, learning specificities and current constrains of a forced distance learning, accidental teachers (the parents at home).
