Most of the online platforms are bandwidth intensive. Also everything is online. There is a need to understand that not all people have computers, not all have the money to spend for bandwidth and some places do not even have any internet connectivity.

I am a single parent with two children at private universities paying over R200k of tuition excluding books and two lease agreements for flats where they stay. You can say my children are privileged but home is never a conducive learning environment at all. They had been on e-learning for the last two weeks, but it is not effective. One wrote exams already. How do you do performing arts online. My take is students in their final years must return to classes and certain faculties and schools.
