It is true that the carbon intensity (that is to say, emissions related to the production value) of the global economy fell by 2% between 2014 and 2018. But, as data from another global consultancy (KPMG) show so that the world limits the an increase in the average global temperature to 1.5º, it would be necessary for the carbon intensity of the global economy to decrease 11.3% per year until 2050.
